The Dunes of Piscinas, or Is Arenas Biancas, are the “desert” of the south west coast of Sardinia, in the Sulcis area. Composed of white and almost impalpable sand like talcum powder, they reach up to one hundred meters in height and are among the largest in Europe, these dunes overlook the crystalline sea and are truly a spectacle of nature. Also called living mountains, they constantly change their shape thanks to the Mistral wind that modifies them.
The white wedding par excellence must be by the sea with these wonderful dunes as a backdrop.
